When art flicks in aka Brick Lane & street art

Hi loves,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhoj0iDoZHA

current lifestyle mode is stitching me to enjoy city of London, not that cold and windy as you think, quite busybee and sunny instead. Colourful. You will find street art work by such a well know artists as Banksy, Ben Eine, D*Face, American artist Shepard Fairey,  French Clet Abraham, Shok, Otto Schade etc.
Couple of weeks ago I spend some much needed quality time with artsy walls. Brick Lane should shake some chores inside you. Located in Shoreditch, famous and well known for all the cool kids. Also the treasured location, where artists all over the world fancy to leave their signature behind.
The streets is always in change. As it was my first time to discover art up there, I focused more capturing mainly the art. Finding out  piece by piece and digging into more each artists background, today you can more capture visually than stories behind the scenes.

As I mentioned mainly most of the street art is not just nice peace of paint. Those Stik figures, where burka wearing Stik figure is holding hand non burka wearing figure is much appreciated by society over here. As London is mixed of culture, like a crazy Babylon, little bit too much and over floating.

This windy flowing piece of art by Victoria Villasana. She is using mainly yarn to create def eye catching and different art. You can find her also in Instagram @villanaart

The End?
Appears that every relationships in this life is relevant in a bigger or smaller manner of speaking.

Girls best friends

One of the favourite pieces by Pegasus. Inspired by Michelangelo's David and ancient greek Venus de Milo. Artist hasn't even being sarcastic with those two paintings, according to his words it's is true tribute to the one of the worlds most powerful and admired couple. Their strong reunion is inspiration for thousands. He is bringing classics back to 21st century. As fashion waves are coming back time in time, why can not then art, the big artist of history come back in a new fashionable way. Art is one of the most powerful way to reach the masses and grounds who don't follow art by daily basis.

Change is the only constant. Fight it and I will sue you

This giant eye catching Crane is made by ROA, a Belgian artist. For the community it's also much appreciated and marked as a local uproar. In 2012, just before Olympic Games, Tower Hamlets council wanted to cover it over with a large banner.

Clet Abraham is the French artist, who is behind those eye catching street signs.

An street artist who's each piece of art have different variations and movements in time.

I find street art extremely attractive and end of the day always little mysterious. Glad that by time murals and messages on walls are not defined anymore as gangs and dark side of the society. Yes, artists still "marking" their territory with their creation, but it's legal and mainly appreciated. I can always search information from google and internet and read from books, but I never gives me explanation and I don't need it. I love that street art in one side is so undefinable compared to classic art.

And finally one happy Red found totally the cutest street - Love Lane. It was also my first time ever to ride in London with bicycle. Okay, there was an event called Prudential Ride, which means that all main roads in central of London are closed for the cars and open for the bicycles. Such a great experience and good workout. And while we went totally crazy, I also rode first time ever in real traffic lanes with all the red double deckers and black cabs. Can not deny, even if I have afraid that madness I got so much adrenaline and I kinda liked it. So my side of lioness to think and say no at the beginning and little bit later totally change my opinion and starting to liked it. Main story of my life, lol.

See you soon babies,

Silja
