1995 till today and to the future. What I am talking about is my longest friendship with miss Anni. 20 years, kindergarten to high school in Estonia, travels and living in America, Australia and UK. We both walked in our own ways in separated paths. After years, we happened to found ourselves in the old same road - friendship. Long story behind us, so many laughing to tears and little independent fights with each other, jealousy times mainly from me, I am a Leo end of the day and need to protect my belongings. Time does matter in a best way I can say that. It have grown our relationship and trust. We can be thousands of miles apart, Atlantic or Pacific Ocean, when we reunite, it feels the most normal thing in the world. That's how life should be in my "perfect" world.
So, this time it was my turn to host Anni in London and let my vacation be little bit longer and extra happier. The more the merrier.
As always, it is so us, to get lost. So we were looking each other more than an hour in Victoria Station. Now I know that there are 2 Victoria Stations / Coach and Train, lol. Easier in the future to pick up people. Like the day haven't pass and same time like all the life have been happened. We had pretty relaxed 3 days in London. I was a good guide and showed my friend all the London city centre attractions. Big Ben to Soho. Mainly we picked up half of our lives, but so much is to still share. Next time. And then, whoever know, may be already in SF.
almost only picture proof that we actually met
my lovely funny mushroom
visited gorgeous architecture of Westminster Abbey, unfortunately did not spot any Prince
London gave us great weather to walk around, even if it was freezing cold, the sun was shining all Friday and Saturday. And once again, I can't tell that London is more beautiful in a daytime or in the night time when we have all the lights. Just the architecture already itself is a m a z i n g. Can not deny that every time I walk around I desire to work on my own field and be surrounded with artsy professionals. Okay. That's other topic. Next time may be.
This sunny Saturday we walked silently next to each other thru the St. James park and it was exactly what we both needed. Relaxed and time zone out.
Thru China town
to the busy city centre shopping streets
...next to Thames carousels
to winter time roller skating
round & round with rollerblades

Comes out that touristing over the big city is a good sport, so therefor reaching home we cooked some healthy dinner and chat until 2am. And we were both absolutely exhausted. Sunday waking up late and cozy, we went to visit Temple in North London, where I sometimes go to get some inner peace, solve thoughts and just admiring around all the architecture & vibe.
Shri Swaminarayan Mandir/ Neasden Temple
I usually like to go there alone, as I feel much comfortable, no rush no waiting. My own time. But being there with Anni, was as relaxing as well. Probably because she is slow as I am and I feel myself and comfortable with her :)
One day I do wanna open little bit the doors behind the reason, why I feel strong connection with that place above. Traditions, belief, open arms :)
Reached back home pretty happy and exhausted. It was Anni's last evening here and 3 am I send her to the airport. Actually out of the door, being sleepy as hell and that point I even did not realised that she is going back. Felt little empty couple of days without her. Same time I was and I am blessed that I have this one good old friend like wine, which goes better and better by the time.
So this little update for these 3 days. Now there is new exciting travels to wait and a lot to do and be productive in London.
Love,
Silja
